Steps for getting IP Addresses

Internet resources are delegated and managed under IRINN's current policies. Please follow the instructions below to lodge your IPv4, IPv6, or AS number requests.

Not an IRINN account holder?

Prerequisites

Contact details of Internet Bandwidth provider along with their AS Number
Network layout of your company to upload for justifying your resource request

Application Process

You will receive an email with a tracking number to confirm your application
IRINN will process your application and update the status of incomplete documents if any
IRINN will issue an invoice if resource request is justified and documents are as per norms
Make the payment and IRINN will allocate the resources within three working days

Existing IRINN account holders

Please send an email to hostmaster[at]irinn[dot]in from your registered email id, justifying your resource requirement along with the utilization status of previously allocated resources. You need to mention your account name in the subject line with in square braces (e.g., [XXXXXX]).

Processing Timeline

Complete applications are typically processed within 7-10 business days after all documentation is submitted and verified.

Resource Justification

Prepare a detailed network plan showing how you will utilize the requested IP resources over the next 12 months.

Technical Requirements

All IP requests must comply with IRINN's allocation policies
Network infrastructure must be capable of utilizing the requested resources
Reverse DNS must be properly configured for all allocated IP space
Resource utilization reports may be required for future allocations

Transfer IP Address

Transfer your IP addresses between organizations following IRINN's policies and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

Both the transferring and receiving organizations must be IRINN affiliates in good standing with all fees paid and documentation current.

Required Documentation

Transfer agreement signed by both parties
Updated KYC documents for both organizations
Justification for the transfer
Proof of no outstanding disputes regarding the IP addresses

Transfer Fees

A transfer processing fee of ₹5,000 applies for all IP address transfers. Additional fees may apply for larger blocks or complex transfers.

Processing Time

Complete transfers typically take 10-15 business days from submission of all required documentation and payment of fees.

Transfer Restrictions

IP resources cannot be transferred within 12 months of initial allocation. All fees must be current for both parties.

Post-Transfer Requirements

The receiving organization must update their IRR records within 30 days of transfer completion.

Important Notes

Transfers may be subject to additional review for large blocks (/22 or larger)
Both parties must confirm the transfer request via authorized email
Historical resource utilization may be requested during the review process
Transferred resources are subject to the same utilization requirements as new allocations

KYC Documents for IRINN Affiliates

The following documents are required for KYC verification of IRINN affiliates:

1. Verify Identity of Affiliates

(Copy of One each documents required as applicable)

For Partnership Firms:
- Registered Partnership Deed
- Entity Pan Card OR GSTIN OR IEC Certificate OR Shop and Establishment License
For Pvt Ltd Co./Ltd Co. and PSU Company:
- Certificate of Incorporation OR Certificate of Entity from associated Government agency
- Company Pan Card OR GSTIN
Sole Proprietorship:
- Udyam Certificate (For MSME Applicants Only)
- GSTIN OR IEC Certificate OR Shop and Establishment License
For Schools, College establishments:
- Copy of establishment registration document
- Pan Card OR GSTIN
For Private and Nationalised Bank:
- License issued by RBI
- Pan Card OR GSTIN

2. Business Address Proof

(copy of one of the following documents is required)

Utility Bills (Telephone, Electricity bill, Bank A/c statement not older than 3 months)

3. Document Authorizing the Authorised Signatory

(on Company Letter Head)

Private/Public Limited Company: Board Resolution
Partnership Firm: Authority Letter
Proprietorship firm: Self Declaration of being Sole Proprietor

4. Authorised Signatories - Signature Proof

(copy of one of the following documents is required)

5. For Billing Purpose

GST Certificate

Important Notes:

KYC Point-1/2 should be in the name of the Applicant Entity irrespective of Nature of business
Bank seal and sign is mandatory required on Bank A/c statement
One Document will not be considered for multiple KYC Points
Resource request with incomplete documents will not be processed

Document Submission Guidelines

Document Quality

All documents must be clear, legible, and in PDF format. Blurry or incomplete documents will not be accepted.

Validity Period

Address proof documents must not be older than 3 months. Other documents should be current and valid.

Verification Process

KYC verification typically takes 3-5 business days after document submission
You will receive email notifications at each stage of the verification process
In case of rejection, detailed reasons will be provided with instructions for resubmission
KYC approval is valid for 2 years, after which re-verification is required

How much it Cost?

A new Affiliate have to pay a one-time sign-up fee of Rs. 27,500/-, plus the Annual Resource fee which is calculated based on the size of the approved IP address space. These fees are payable before receiving your resource delegation. The discount if offered will be applicable on resource fee only.

Payment Methods

We accept bank transfers, demand drafts, and online payments. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees.

Invoice & Receipts

Official invoices are generated after application approval. Receipts are issued within 3 business days of payment clearance.

Refund Policy

Sign-up fees are non-refundable once the application process has begun
Resource fees may be refunded if the allocation cannot be completed due to IRINN limitations
No refunds are provided for completed allocations, regardless of utilization
Transfer fees are non-refundable once the transfer process has been initiated
